BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 6. Reliability
indicators for Shah Deniz initiatives in Azerbaijan stay at 100%,
bp’s Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye, Gio
Cristofoli, stated throughout a briefing, Pattern experiences.
“Actions proceed. Firstly, we proceed drilling—we plan to
drill roughly six new wells. Secondly, we’re making good
progress on the development of a brand new facility, Shah Deniz
Compression.
This facility will basically cut back reservoir stress and
extract extra gasoline, thereby offering the nation with extra
sources,” he defined.
Situated within the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, Shah
Deniz, found in 1999, is without doubt one of the world’s largest
gas-condensate fields, with an estimated one trillion cubic meters
of gasoline and 243 million tons of condensate. The efficient execution
of the Shah Deniz gasoline initiative has positioned Azerbaijan as a
outstanding participant within the international gasoline export area.
After the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline was commissioned in
2006, Azerbaijan started exporting pure gasoline to the Georgian and
Turkish markets.
