
Safety forces on Sunday killed 5 terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed group Fitna al-Khawarij throughout an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Lakki Marwat District.In response to the Inter-Providers Public Relations (ISPR), safety forces performed the IBO on March 15 after receiving stories of the terrorists’ presence within the space.
“Through the conduct of the operation, our troops successfully engaged the Khwarij location, and after an intense change of fireside, 5 Khwarij have been neutralised,” the assertion stated.
ISPR added that weapons and ammunition have been recovered from the killed terrorists, who had been actively concerned in quite a few assaults within the area.
The assertion stated a sanitisation operation is ongoing to get rid of any remaining Indian-sponsored Khwarij within the space as a part of the relentless counter-terrorism marketing campaign underneath the imaginative and prescient “Azm-e-Istehkam.”
“Safety forces and legislation enforcement companies of Pakistan will proceed at full tempo to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the nation,” it added.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Zardari and Inside Minister Mohsin Navi have lauded safety forces for foiling the nefarious designs of terrorists.
