SINGAPORE: The Singapore Police Power issued a press release earlier this week a few 40-year-old Singaporean man who had been deported from Thailand and, upon his arrival within the city-state, was arrested by officers from the Specialised Crime Department of the Felony Investigation Division (CID).

The person had been out on bail in 2024 when he absconded from Singapore. The police added that the person is believed to be concerned in working vice syndicates.

Authentic arrest historical past

Together with 17 different people, the person had been arrested on Oct 21, 2024, for vice-related and unlawful drug actions throughout a sweep throughout Singapore. The person was charged with offences beneath the Girls’s Constitution and was launched on bail. Nonetheless, his passport was handed over as a situation of his bail.

When the person was scheduled to attend a courtroom point out on Dec 12, he was nowhere to be discovered, which resulted in an arrest warrant being issued in opposition to him. The CID then collaborated with the Royal Thai Police (RTP), resulting in the person being positioned in Chonburi province in Thailand. The person was deported from Thailand on March 17 and arrested when he arrived in Singapore. He was charged in courtroom the next day. He now faces a multi-year jail time period and hundreds of {dollars} in fines for the offences he has been charged with.
