Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman condemned the assaults that focused the United Arab Emirates’ embassy within the Syrian capital, Damascus, and what they symbolize when it comes to a transparent violation of worldwide diplomatic norms and conventions that assure the sanctity of diplomatic missions and the protection of these working in them, a press release from the International Ministry mentioned.
The Sultanate of Oman affirmed its categorical rejection of such acts that undermine the safety and security of diplomatic premises. It emphasised the need of respecting the Vienna Conference on Diplomatic Relations and making certain the safety of diplomatic missions always, the assertion mentioned.
