Sri Lanka quick bowler Nuwan Thushara has withdrawn the petition he had filed over the non-issuance of a “No Objection Certificates” (NOC) required for participation in worldwide premier league tournaments, together with the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL).
The petition had been filed earlier than the Colombo District Court docket, in search of an interim order compelling Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) to subject the mandatory clearance.
When the case was taken up immediately (April 23), legal professional G. G.
