Probolinggo, East Java (ANTARA) – The Indonesian authorities has positioned the Purple and White Fishing Village (KNMP) program as a strategic device to raise dwelling requirements by strengthening the blue financial system.

“The KNMP program kinds a part of the nationwide technique to foster a sustainable ecosystem for the blue financial system,” mentioned Marine Affairs and Fisheries Deputy Minister Didit Herdiawan Ashaf in a press release on Saturday.​​​​

He remarked on the initiative after visiting the Randu Putih Fish Public sale Middle in Probolinggo District, East Java, on Friday.

“Out of 4 fishing village websites we proposed, two have begun growth in Randu Putih Village and Kalibunti Village,” he mentioned.

The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries has introduced a goal to finish growth at 100 places nationwide by Might 2026.
