Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday ordered a direct inquiry after an assault on former provincial minister and PML-N MPA Ayub Gadhi’s dera (residence) in Punjab’s Toba Tek Singh district left him injured and 4 others useless.

In an announcement, the prime minister directed authorities to establish these chargeable for the assault and make sure that criminals are delivered to justice, state media reported.

Calling Gadhi one of many hardworking staff of the PML-N, the prime minister stated that the assault on the MPA whereas he was listening to public grievances was “extraordinarily regarding”.

The premier prayed for the souls of those that misplaced their lives within the incident and for the bereaved households.

The premier’s assertion comes a day after unidentified attackers opened hearth at Gadhi’s dera, leaving him injured whereas 4 of his companions have been killed.

On the time, Toba Tek Singh district police officer (DPO) stated that Gadhi was shifted to the DHQ Hospital, including that raids have been being carried out to arrest the suspects concerned within the assault.

Individually, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif sought a report from related authorities following the lethal assault on the previous provincial minister.

In an announcement, the Punjab CM condemned and expressed grief over the deaths and ordered the rapid arrest of these accountable.

CM Maryam prolonged condolences to the households of these killed within the incident and directed authorities to make sure the very best medical amenities for the injured.

The chief minister prayed for the restoration of Gadhi and different injured people.
