BYD and its approved distributor for Sri Lanka, John Keells CG Auto (JKCG Auto), celebrated a milestone of 20,000 profitable car companies since commencing operations final 12 months.

The achievement underscores the size and tempo at which Sri Lanka has embraced New Vitality Autos (NEVs), and displays the sustained funding by JKCG Auto in constructing a strong, island-wide after-sales infrastructure to match that demand.

In simply over a 12 months since car imports resumed, BYD has captured roughly 37% of all model new car registrations and over 70% of cumulative electrical car registrations in Sri Lanka.

To maintain tempo with this extraordinary uptake, JKCG Auto has aggressively invested within the growth of its after-sales community, which already spans service facilities throughout Colombo, Wattala, Kandy, Galle, Kurunegala and Ampara.

Following its most up-to-date growth, JKCG is now in a position to ship a mixed every day service capability of over 200 autos island-wide, powered by a group of over 150 BYD licensed after-sales professionals.

The community is additional anchored by Sri Lanka’s largest devoted physique store at Seeduwa, with simultaneous capability for over 100 autos.
