Prime Minister Bart De Wever stated on X that he was “deeply moved by the horrific accident in Buggenhout”.

“My ideas exit to the affected households,” De Wever added.

European Fee President Ursula von der Leyen additionally stated she was “heartbroken” in regards to the “tragic accident”.

“My deepest condolences exit to the victims’ households and their family members,” von der Leyen wrote on X.
