SINGAPORE: A Go-Forward Singapore bus captain was allegedly assaulted by a passenger after the commuter turned upset over lacking his bus cease whereas travelling on Bus Service 2 on Might 23.

In a Fb put up, the transport operator mentioned the incident occurred at round 3:10 p.m.

“At about 3:10 p.m., the commuter grew offended after his bus cease was missed and proceeded to verbally abuse and bodily assault our bus captain whereas he was driving,” Go-Forward Singapore acknowledged.

The corporate added that the journey was disrupted following the incident and that the bus captain later sought medical consideration at Changi Common Hospital.

Go-Forward Singapore confused that it doesn’t tolerate any type of abuse or violence towards public transport staff, warning that such behaviour places workers, commuters, and different highway customers in danger.

“Our bus captains perform their duties on daily basis with professionalism and care to make sure commuters attain their locations safely. They deserve respect and mustn’t need to endure abuse in the midst of their work,” the corporate added.
