Beirut: Hezbollah chief Naim Qassem on Sunday rejected any Israeli safety zone in Lebanon, after Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed his troops would stay within the nation’s south for “so long as vital”.

Israeli troops “remaining on Lebanese land is unimaginable. There are not any safety zones for Israel… we’ve got a nationwide military which deploys, and it’s chargeable for preserving sovereignty, and it’s who we cooperate with,” Qassem mentioned in a televised tackle.
