SEREMBAN, July 9 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to announce the coalition’s listing of candidates for the sixteenth Negeri Sembilan state election at a ceremony in Dataran Melang, Kuala Pilah, on Tuesday (July 14), in keeping with Negeri Sembilan PKR chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.
He mentioned the candidate listing has been finalised and submitted, with the official announcement to be made by the PKR president, who can be the Prime Minister, on the scheduled date.
Commenting on hypothesis that he’ll contest the Linggi state seat, the incumbent Sikamat assemblyman declined to elaborate and urged all events to attend for the official announcement.
“I’ve no remark for now. Insya-Allah, simply wait till July 14… My recommendation is that everybody ought to work in direction of securing victory,” he advised reporters after presenting Particular Grants to 342 Rukun Tetangga models within the state, involving an allocation of RM342,000.
Aminuddin, who can be Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar, mentioned that with the election approaching, all candidates and events ought to concentrate on marketing campaign efforts to make sure the coalition’s victory within the state.
On June 13, Aminuddin mentioned the allocation of the 36 Negeri Sembilan state seats would see PKR contesting 16 seats, DAP 11, whereas Amanah would subject candidates within the remaining 9 seats.
