BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 21. Nations that
proceed to keep up ties with Iran in a single kind or one other face the
threat of financial oblivion.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent wrote about this on his X
web page.

“Any remaining tie to Tehran will hasten a nation’s financial
oblivion, whether or not that tie be purposefully constructed or willfully
ignored,” the minister wrote.

On August 19, US President Donald Trump introduced the beginning of
an unprecedented “financial battle and isolation” towards Iran. The
American chief additionally warned that nations supporting Tehran
by way of monetary establishments, companies, airports, or authorities
entities would face extreme financial penalties from the US.
