The federal authorities has accepted the deployment of Pakistan Military personnel in Rawalpindi for six months to help the district administration in sustaining regulation and order.
In keeping with the choice, the deployment has been authorised beneath Article 245 of the Structure following a request from the Punjab House Division.
Three firms of the Pakistan Military, consisting of greater than 400 personnel, will likely be stationed in Rawalpindi through the six months.
The troops will work alongside the district administration to strengthen safety measures and preserve peace throughout the town.
Underneath the accepted preparations, safety will likely be tightened at delicate areas and vital roads, whereas military personnel will help the civil administration in responding to any potential untoward scenario.
