Inside Minister Mohsin Naqvi has accused Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi of derailing negotiations, saying the opposition’s negotiating staff had engaged in talks sincerely and a powerful settlement had been reached.

Talking at a press convention in Lahore, Naqvi appreciated the members of the opposition negotiating committee for his or her efforts, saying they’d approached the talks in good religion and managed to arrange a “superb settlement.”

He stated the proposed settlement was additionally offered to President Asif Ali Zardari for evaluation, whereas Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif remained totally briefed on the developments all through the method.

Naqvi stated, sadly, Chief Minister Sohail Afridi later sabotaged the negotiations. In accordance with the inside minister, Afridi rejected the draft after it had been ready, stating that they might not settle for it.

Questioning the strategy, Naqvi stated that if all selections have been finally to be taken by the KP chief minister, he ought to have personally taken half within the negotiations as a substitute of leaving the method to the opposition committee.
