Tree nearly as old as US torn down to expand Mexico border wall | Protests

A 200-year-old cottonwood tree has been lower all the way down to make means for an enlargement of a US-Mexico double border wall. Activists staged protests for months and camped on the tree to forestall it from being lower down.
