Police investigations have revealed that the gunman and the motorcyclist who carried out the homicide of Shriran Kosala de Silva, the supervisor of the Singer showroom in Ambalangoda, had coordinated the killing whereas staying at a home stated to belong to a former senior police officer.

The home is reportedly positioned within the Ankumbura space of Kandy.

It is usually reported that the suspects had fled by the point police groups arrived on the premises.

Interrogations of the arrested suspects have revealed that the gunman and the motorcyclist had arrived on the related luxurious home in Ankumbura, Kandy, on the seventh and stayed there till the twenty first.

It’s additional reported that after coming to Ambalangoda on 22 December and committing the homicide, the 2 suspects fled again to the identical luxurious home in Ankumbura, Kandy.

When police carried out a search operation on the home, the gunman and the motorcyclist had already fled.

Police investigations have revealed that the homicide was carried out collectively by the criminals referred to as Kosgoda Suji, Gotha Asanka, Karandeniya Sudda, his brother Karandeniya Raju, Dola and Dasun Manawadu.

Nonetheless, police state that the motive for the homicide was the shut affiliation maintained by the sufferer, Kosala, with Uragaha Michael, the principle rival of Kosgoda Suji.
