The Felony Investigation Division (CID) immediately (January 16) extradited three needed suspects from Dubai, together with two suspected hitmen linked to organized prison gangs and a lady needed for monetary misappropriation.
The three suspects have been taken into custody upon their arrival in Sri Lanka early this morning (January 16).
Police mentioned the 2 male suspects are needed in reference to a number of homicides and shootings. One suspect, Kirieldeniye Don Rasika Chaminda Kumara, often known as Chuti Malli, has an open warrant issued by the Kandana Police in relation to a homicide case.
The opposite suspect, Raveen Chaminda Weerasinghe, often known as Puncha, is needed by police over a number of capturing incidents reported from the Elpitiya space.
A girl who was apprehended together with the suspects in Dubai was additionally introduced again to Sri Lanka. She has been recognized as Hewa Kasakara Rupa Nishamani de Silva, a resident of Mount Lavinia.
