The Land Valuation Indicator compiled for the Colombo District continued its upward development, growing by 10.6 % within the second half of 2025 in comparison with the second half of 2024.
This progress was mirrored throughout all three sub-indices of the Land Valuation Index, specifically residential, business, and industrial, which recorded annual will increase of 12.4 %, 11.3 %, and eight.0 %, respectively.
In the meantime, in comparison with the values reported within the first half of 2025, the Land Valuation Indicator and its sub-indices recorded average progress on a half-year foundation within the second half of 2025.
On this context, the business and residential sub-indices confirmed comparatively larger progress charges.
