Washington [US], August 9 (ANI): The US on Saturday (native time) ‘rejected’ China’s transfer to determine what it known as a ‘nationwide nature reserve’ at Scarborough Reef, saying the measure might limit Filipino fishermen’s entry to their conventional fishing grounds.

In a press launch, the US Division of State mentioned, ‘The US rejects China’s ongoing makes an attempt to implement its destabilising ‘nationwide nature reserve’ at Scarborough Reef and deny Filipino fishermen entry to their conventional fishing floor as mirrored within the 2016 Arbitral Award. That is one more unilateral try by China to make use of doubtful environmental and authorized pretexts, backed by coercion, to advance its sweeping territorial and maritime claims within the South China Sea on the expense of its neighbours.’
