The studentship of 11 college students of the College of Expertise at Sabaragamuwa College has been revoked.
The choice was taken following an investigation into the suicide of a second-year scholar of the college, recognized as Charith Dilshan, after he was subjected to ragging.
The College Council issued the official investigation report final week regarding critical disciplinary offences associated to harassing the deceased scholar and different college students, and subjecting them to bodily and psychological threats.
The registration of those college students as college students of Sabaragamuwa College has been completely revoked, and they’re going to now not be entitled to any rights or privileges loved by inside college students.
