RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Navy has seized narcotics value roughly $96 million throughout two counter-narcotics operations within the Arabian Sea, the navy’s media wing mentioned Wednesday.
The operations had been carried out by Pakistan Navy Ship YARMOOK whereas deployed within the Arabian Sea, in accordance with the Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR).
Throughout the operations, carried out at prolonged ranges from the Pakistani coast, two dhows had been intercepted and roughly 850kg of ice and a pair of,000kg of cannabis/hashish had been recovered from hid compartments contained in the vessels.
The seized narcotics, valued at roughly $96 million, had been taken into custody and can subsequently be handed over to the involved authorities for additional disposal and authorized proceedings, ISPR mentioned.
