He mentioned that in the course of the raid on Friday (Oct. 9), cops stopped M, who was passing via the Munduk Hamlet. From M, they discovered 11 mobula ray people who had been reduce into items in a cart that he pulled together with his motorbike.

To assist the probe, the Jembrana Police is coordinating with the Coast and Marine Assets Administration Workplace (BPSPL) and Jaringan Satwa Indonesia (JSI), an animal rights group, which confirmed that mobula rays are protected species.
In the meantime, Jembrana Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Cherry Simamora inspired residents to forestall unlawful commerce of protected species of their areas.
