The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa authorities has been pressured to withdraw amendments made to the Members’ Privileges and Immunities Act after going through intense public and political criticism.
On the directives of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, a particular meeting committee agreed to retract the amendments and referred the matter again to the Privileges Committee for preparation of a contemporary draft.
