Peshawar  –  Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Data and Public Relations Shafi Jan has stated that the Speaker of the KP Meeting has directed that the controversial provisions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Members of Provincial Meeting Privileges Act be referred again to the Standing Committee on Privileges for assessment.

He stated the committee would re-examine the controversial clauses and restore them in keeping with the 1988 Act inside one week.

Addressing a information convention, the minister stated the Act had remained underneath dialogue over the previous a number of days, with considerations raised by the journalist neighborhood, most people and staff of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) relating to sure provisions.
